专利说明:
Title: Transporter The present invention relates to a conveyor with successive conveyor sections. Such a conveyor is known from EP512651. Such a conveyor is used for supplying eggs in an orderly flow to a packaging unit, for example packaging eggs that have been laid and come from the cages. Such a transporter is often referred to as a "farmpacker". The variation in such eggs is generally very large, from large to small, from clean to more or less soiled, or from intact to severely broken. Since at that stage of processing no sorting or selection for undesirable characteristics has yet taken place, such a conveyor will often become contaminated at a rapid pace. This contamination not only leads to a failure or interruption of the processing process, more particularly also to undesired contamination of machine parts with pathogens, as well as the transfer and transmission thereof, to subsequent flows. Such pollution is usually combated by thorough daily cleaning actions. Further possibilities have been sought by increasing capacity on the one hand and the desired automation on the other. In order to provide for the above deficiency, the conveyor according to the present invention is characterized in that at least the directional section on at least the downstream side is removably connected to said same drive with the aid of a mechanical coupling. With great advantage, in the conveyor according to the invention, being removable means that not only targeted cleaning actions can be performed. In the case of defects or changed functional requirements, sections can also be replaced. However, such a method of removal is known from WO2006025730. Although it describes how the supply and distribution section can be removed for cleaning purposes, the further parts indicate how vulnerable they are to cleaning. It is further noted in this document that in the conveyor according to the invention the coupling between the sections is chosen such that no adjustment changes will occur upon removal. This is clearly a generally applied flat endless belt on which the eggs do not occupy fixed positions, but on the other hand are supplied completely randomly from the cages. In a further exemplary embodiment, the conveyor according to the invention is characterized in that the mechanical coupling couples the said conveyor sections to a pin-slot connection, wherein one of the said specified transport position is always taken; and that at least the transfer section can be replaced by a transfer section for transferring products in packaging units of a further well-defined model. In a very suitable manner a complex machine is obtained in this way which is not only quickly removable, but moreover can be rebuilt in a very short time. In addition to the above-mentioned advantages of replacement and cleaning, such a conveyor also offers the possibility of rapid displacement. A further improved economic management can be obtained in this way. In the following, an exemplary embodiment of the conveyor according to the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to a drawing, in which the only FIGURE 1 gives a view from obliquely above in a situation in which the sections are disassembled. In this description, for details of the individual sections, reference will be made to two parallel applications filed by the applicant and each directed to one of these sections. In FIGURE 1, an isometric view from obliquely on top of a conveyor 1 is shown. This conveyor consists of several parts, the most important of which are shown in FGUUR 1. The conveyor 1 is intended for transporting products, in particular eggs, wherein the eggs occupy all well-defined transport positions on the parts or sections shown. The purpose of this is to feed the eggs in an orderly manner to a packaging unit in which such products, particularly because of their vulnerability, will also occupy well-defined packaging positions. Furthermore, it is of the utmost importance that these products, namely the eggs, be transferred downwards in nests of these packaging units. As stated briefly above, such a carrier is often referred to as a "farm packer" in this area of technology. The following sections are shown in FIGURE 1. A first section which is called directional section 2 comprises a roller conveyor 20 and is intended for feeding the eggs on rollers and subsequently a turning mill 21 for turning the eggs, from their position transversely of the direction of transport to a situation where their point towards downwards. Both the roller conveyor 20 and the turning mill 21 are driven by means of a drive wheel 22 mounted on a shaft on which a drive pin 23 is arranged. It will be clear to any person skilled in the art that all eggs occupy certain positions, and that these positions also retain relative to each other. As indicated above, for details, reference is made to the applicant's parallel application directed to this section. A second section which is called transfer section 3 comprises a conveyor 30 and a subsequent so-called drop set 31. This carrier conveyor comprises holders all connected to an endless chain, wherein the holders take over the well-directed eggs from the mill and transport them to the said drop sets. In the drop set, the eggs in carriers that are designed as hand-shaped catch halves are transferred and handed over to the nests of a packaging unit in the further process. These carriers are all again connected to an endless chain driven by a rod 32 mounted on a drive shaft with rod pin 33. It will be clear to all persons skilled in the art that all eggs occupy certain positions, and also retain these positions relative to each other. As indicated above, for details, reference is made to the aforementioned two parallel applications. The aforementioned transport positions will form a continuous row throughout the conveyor 1. Furthermore, FIGURE 1 shows a so-called generally known packer web 4, with a tray 40 thereon as generally used for collecting and packaging products such as eggs. Such a packer track 40 comprises in a known manner two endless chains with carriers 41 for carrying the trays 40. These chains are driven in known manner with a motor 5. Not shown in this FIGURE 1 is the often used flat endless conveyor belt for supplying from the eggs to the first section wherein provision is made in known manner for feeding and dosing the eggs in well-ordered rows. Also shown in FIGURE 1 is the main transport direction T which the products follow from first supply to removal of packaging units. More specifically, the motor 5 provides the drive of the first and second section as described above. In a drive box 6 connected to the motor 5, a main wheel 61 is directly connected to the motor 5 and mounted or the motor shaft 51 thereof. The successive couplings with this main wheel 61 in this drive box 6 are a drop belt 62 with which a drop shaft 63 is driven, and from there a turning belt 64 with which a turning shaft 65 is driven. As shown in FIGURE 1, a drop set slot 100 is mounted on the drop set bag 63, and a turn slot 101 is mounted on the return shaft 65. Although belts have been used, other transfer means may be used, well known to those skilled in the art. In FIGURE 1 are shown side by side, on the one hand rod pin 33 and drop set slot 100, and on the other hand drive pin 23 and turn slot 101, which match two by two and when mounted as a pin-slot connection transfer the drive from the motor 5. It will be clear to any person skilled in the art that in the view according to FIGURE 1 the sections have been disassembled relative to each other and have been turned slightly with respect to the main transport direction T in order to be able to explain and clarify the manner of driving and mounting. Furthermore, it will be clear to a person skilled in the art that as a result of the drive wheels used in the sections and of the pitch distances used in these sections in the drive box 6, the correct transmission ratios have been chosen. Furthermore, during mounting, the proper mounting position of each of the slots 100, 101 will have to be taken to assemble the said continuous row of transport positions. It will be clear to any person skilled in the art that further variants with, for example, measures and components as described above, are considered to be understood within the scope of the appended claims.
